The aim of the programme is to allow students to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to healthcare through pharmaceutical services.

• Dispense medications and other pharmaceutical products to patients/clients and offer appropriate counselling.
• Be equipped to work in manufacturing units of hospitals and industries.
• Conduct basic quality control services on pharmaceuticals in the hospitals and industries.
• Manage and carry out routine services on basic equipment used in the hospitals and industries.
• Carry out and interpret basic scientific research work.

The aim of the programme is to train health professionals involved in the sale of over-the-counter medicine and work efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.

• Effectively assist in the ordering, receiving, managing stock and assist in dispensing medicines.
• Ensure the rights, dignity, respect and confidentiality of patient's health status and their medications dispensed.
• Promote a high sense of health safety and security in the health care sector.
• Render good customer service and basic health education to clients.
